(The Gilded Dragon. Feel free to RP inside this area. This is also where you buy items for other RPs.)
Throughout different dimentions and lands, there is a Rift between them, an area where all things are connect. World's End, one may say. This is the land closest to the Hand that Created it All. This is the Rift Between Space.
For some reason, doors now connect these dimentions and universes together, bringing them all to this midrealm. Right now, it seems pretty nice. A mysterious, yet majestic city scene. The mighty skyscrapers infested and covered in vines. Streets cracked, metal snapped. Doors leading to different dimentions are here as well. Looking through one, you can see another land. But... it won't let you through.
And if you look through the ruins, there's a large building here... Open the door. The sign reads: "The Gilded Dragon".
You enter into a large, tall, brightly lit room, and you soon realize that there is no gravity in this place. Newton's laws of motion float aimlessly around the area, reminding you of the laws needed to move through this empty space. A pillar of light is in the center, illuminating the room, and several cards float aimlessly inside the pillar, each one with an image. If you look closely every day, you'll find that the cards pertain to the motion of the celestial bodies.
Tables are here, and they seem to be locked in midair. The store keeper must have placed them there for people to use. A small piece of paper is taped to the center of each table. "Wifi here"
...huh.
Shelves and counters, filled with different potions and alchemy goods are bolted to the walls, but not the floor. Different potions are lined up, but many of the counters are marked with a "Not for sale... yet". Looks like they're only for display.
If you go to the top, you'll find that the upper 1/3rds of the room has been sectioned off by a large cage. Looking through (while sitting on a table closeby, perhaps), you'll see several creatures. Dragons, dyrads, and several others. All there. A sign is also placed on the cage. "Do not feed, do not touch, ask store keeper for details". Ooh! Maybe you can buy them!
But as you look around, you'll find many doors hidden through the shop. They're all locked, and some are just painted! But they have to be real! How else does the shop keeper manage to open and close them? How?
Oh, right! The shopkeeper! He goes through these different doors, wearing a robe that was a gift from a friend of his. The guy's quite short, but there's an aura of... power? Who is this? Shopkeeper...

Introduction from the Storekeeper
"Hello, hello. I'm sorry, some of these potions are not for sale. It's not easy brewing them, but they're not the same if you don't make them by hand. Feel free to examine... and ask about buying. I AM a merchant, you know. Oh, and those pets on the top... PLEASE do not do anything with them without talking to me. Those pets are not FULLY TAMED yet, they will eat strangers."

Alchemist's Dream
A small counter holds them. This one is placed a few yards above the entrance to the store.
"Ah, a classic. Turns any item into any currency. You can use it to get a refund for bought items without going through too much hassle. And life may be priceless, but pouring this stuff on LIVING creatures won't refund it. There's a limit to everything, you know."
Refunds one item. Pets and limited-use assist trophies cannot be refunded by this. PM a Mod, and they'll do the transaction... I hope. ^^
Price: 30
---------------
Potions
Scattered around the room on various shelves. Many of them are still boiling, fresh from the brewing.
"Right, right. You want a potion. Well, what kind? I guess you can look around... just don't open any of them. Oh? That's right. You don't know what each one does... I'll just put this chart up. Okay!"
Item Effect Price Red heals small wounds. 20 Blue revives mind and spirit, but not body 50 White revives mind, spirit, and body 125 Bomb Kaboom! You pick the element 50 Special A special potion, brewed to have any effect that's desired *
*Depends. Post in this thread to determine an effect and price.
------------
Spellbooks
Located upon various bookshelves in the store.
"Oh! So you wish to borrow one of my spellbooks! Yes, I say borrow. These are part of a great collection, and to part with them would never do well! Even for money, I can only let you use them for so long! Don't worry about coming here to return them, they'll come back to me on their own. Oh, an prices are on a green tab at the back of the book. Ah, and if you don't know for sure what kind of spell you want, just tell me and I'll pick a book for you."
Allows the casting of almost any spell, of any element. The quality of the book determines the spell's strength. If buying, post what the desired spell effect is, and I'll assign the book you need. Prices are in green.
Tattered book- Very, very weak
20 "Go ahead. The thing's going to tear, anyways."
Broken book- Too weak
40 "Sorry about the spine. This one's got a long history..."
Worn book- Weak
50 "Ah, this one... it was popular in its glory days"
Repaired book- Okay
60 "Just had it fixed. You can depend on it."
Clean book- Average
75 "I have a whole shipment of these in the backrooms. Feel free to take as many as needed."
Standard book- Above Average
100 "Standard Academy quality. Only a true mage can appreciate its handicraft."
Mint-condition book- High quality!
150 "Ah... I really don't want to part with this one... it's part of my master collection..."
And for how long you keep it... depends on how long.
For a set number of posts*, it's the price, times number of posts/10.
So if a book costs 100, and you want to keep it for 20 posts, the price would be:
100 X 20/10
100 X 2
200
*Just in an RP. Take note of this, and plan accordingly.
For a time period... that would be...
Price x time/10 + time
With time being the number of days borrowed.

PETS
Rooftop area. Don't get eaten!
"I'm glad you want one, but there are still some problems with breeding them. So, I've been forced to send some of my beloveds to an old associate of mine. Fear not, some of these pets are still here. So feel free to browse and buy!"
Homunculus
About as high as your leg, these ectoplasmic oddities transform into a weapon when needed. They float effortlessly in the cage, and sometimes turn into swords to fight eachother.
"Just a little dabble in alchemy goes a long way! My Homunculus can turn itself into any close-ranged weapon at all! At all! It can also turn into the shapes of your normal household pets, just in case you didn't like its appearance. Homun use a special sulfur liquid I have as its food. Without it, it'll be too tired to transform into a weapon. You can still keep it as a pet, but it won't be much use in battle."
A Homun costs 10 gald, and will only last for 1 use in an RP.
"Oh dear, this little one won't last long without food. It'll fall asleep as soon as its done with the job... I'm sorry. It's extra cheap, take it."
Homun Sulfur feed costs 1 gald per bag, and each bag will allow it to last for another use.
"Mmhm, much better. Standard quality. It'll do the job, but nothing more."
Premium Sulfur feed costs 50 gald, and each bag will allow 60 more uses.
"Oh, from my special stock! Take it, if you need it. But it's quite costly in large amounts..."
Pay 500 gald, and you'll get a Sulfur Feeder attached to Homun. Infinite-use Homun, basically.
"You won't see it at all. What this does is generate sulfur feed from the energy around Homun! Don't worry about feeding him, or about the energy. You won't notice a thing!"
Baby Dragon
Yeah, the dragon! This one is smaller than the Homun, though. They seem content in their cage, flying aimlessly, and sleeping along the surfaces of the cage. Of course, there's no gravity, so they're sleeping along walls, too.
"My dragons, such a noble little creature! Don't worry, they are well fed, and well trained. I have tons of elemental dragons, so pick an element, and buy! Each dragon only has one attack: throwing an elemental flame. They can actually shoot them a far distance, too..."
A dragon costs 50 gald, and can only attack for one use in RP.
"They get hungry quickly... and although they eat anything, the required feed is the only thing that'll give them the mana needed to cast and fire the little elemental flare."
The feed costs 10 per purchase, and lasts for 5 uses in RP.
"Here's the feed you want. Be careful, as overfeeding dragons is a common mistake for first-time raisers."
A more specialized feed costs 60 per purchase, and lasts for 40 uses in RP.
"Specially made for you. Dragons love this stuff, too. The best food for my best customers!"
Pay 750 gald and MISC2 will give you free access to as much feed as needed. Infinite-use Dragon, basically.
"Ah! A beautiful patronage, my friend! If you need it, feel free to take!"
