"Mmmm..." Nowe sighed softly, closing his eyes and stretching, enjoying the unique sensation of the ocean breeze. He'd never gotten a chance to enjoy being at the ocean before, the Knights of the Seal hadn't had a Seal there and where Legna had raised him was in the mountains. So, though he'd seen it from afar, this was the first time he'd ever really gotten a chance to come to the ocean side and enjoy. The fact he was at the gorgeous ocean resort Altamira for a week of pure vacation made it even better.
It had been Legna who insisted he take the vacation, after about a month of moping around missing Eris and Manah and-at any rate, Legna said that if he said one more thing about the old world he'd would take Nowe and throw him off a cliff. So, after a few feeble arguments, it was decided Nowe would go to Altamira whilst Legna went to the mountains to hunt game-without a pesky child scaring them all away. Besides, Legna would definitely not fit in at Altamira...
Nowe took a few more moments to enjoy the sounds of life and nature before turning and heading into the hotel.

The music, the bustling people, the tropical climate, everything about the Resort City was intoxicating! His favorite part, though, would probably be the women. Hey, hot weather and beaches meant swimsuits, and that’s something any guy could enjoy. The elevator stopped at that point. He stepped out and practically ran past the receptionist’s desk. Right before he got to the doors, he took a breath. Okay, He thought to himself, time to par-tay! He walked out of the automatic doors. He glared down at the boy and yelled, “Hey, watch where you’re going, kid!”

"E-eh?" Startled, Nowe looked up at the strange looking red haired man before him. The stranger certainly didn't look happy to Nowe, more like he might like to cause him bodily harm. Just my luck....what a way to start a vacation. Nowe thought glumly, his spirits falling.
Stepping out of the way, Nowe cleared the guy's path. "I'm...sorry." He said rather lamely. I guess I wasn't really watching where I was going. Nowe thought, frowning. I need to be more careful... He could just imagine what Legna would have to stay about this. 'Stop being a gutless wimp! Stand up for yourself!' "...and I'm not a kid!" Nowe added, giving Zelos a look. "I'm 19 years old and fully qualify for adulthood."

Zelos didn’t like this guy’s first impression. First off, he was a he, not a she, so there was that. Secondly, this guy had just slammed himself into the Chosen! Well . . . at least he was apologetic, though that didn’t mean much. “Hmph,” Zelos let seethe through his teeth, “Just open your eyes when you’re walking. At least Colette has an excuse.”
Just then, a woman was passing by. Instantly Zelos bounded down the steps, back to his normal self, and slid in front of her, blocking her path. “Hey, there, my lovely princess,” he began, “How’s about hanging with me at the beach today~?♥”
Her cheeks turned red as she coyly looked away, “Oh, Chosen One, how bold!♥”

"I was!" Nowe shot back, then blinked as a pretty girl walked near and the guy's attitude totally changed. He blinked in shock as the guy asked her to the beach in a way that put you in mind of pervs and flirts...and was even more startled when she reacted like he was the most charming thing on earth or something. And she'd called him Chosen One...which sounded strangely familiar. "Where have I heard that before...?" Nowe wondered, wrinkling his brow as he ransacked his memory. Chosen...Meltokio...Almost had it...."Aha!" He said, pounding a fist into the palm of his hand. "Now I remember. You're the one that the hotel keeper said was a pervert who went around stealing the virtue of young ladies!"

Zelos’ eye twitched after the kid opened his mouth again. A few thoughts ran through his head, some of which included ‘impudent’ and ‘annoying.’ He quickly turned around and rebutted, “I dunno about ‘pervert,’ but yeah, I get around with the ladies. I am the wonderful Chosen, Zelos Wilder. And just who are you to butt in my business, ya little brat?”

Nowe's eyes sparked with icy annoyance at this "Wonderful Chosen Zelos Wilder." More like "Annoying Zelos Wilder"
"First of all, I am not a little brat." He said coolly. "Second of all...I did not "butt in on your business.", I simply accidentally walked into you, apologized, then recalled a statement previously said about your person. My bad if I said it out loud, though by the sounds of it the whole world already knows." He said a bit sarcastically. Turning to the lady Zelos had asked to the beach, Nowe gave a small bow. "I apologize greatly for intruding upon your happy day ma'am."

Snarky little brat . . .
The woman gave a slight, nervous laugh and backed away a bit. She was obviously incredibly uncomfortable, and after making an excuse (though a bad one), took her leave. Zelos just watched her back with a glower. First the kid butts in his business, then drives his business away! Zelos was ticked now.
He spun around at him, hissing, “Nice going, brat, you drove her away! I don’t know who you are, and I don’t care. I’m done with you.”
With that, Zelos headed for the beach, hoping to forget his anger and get back to enjoying his vacation.

"Ugh." Nowe shook his head. "Pompous..." He stopped, let his breath whoosh out calmingly. It couldn't be helped that such people were like that. Probably had something to do with his past, or raising, or maybe it was just in his personality. Or all three. "I can't let some guy like him ruin my vacation." Nowe decided with a nod. He was going to spend the week here at Altamira and enjoy it! Not to mention the fact that if Nowe went back without having spent the full seven days he'd probably end up getting a HUGE lecture and then maybe get a deer thrown on him from 50 feet up. It had happened before and it hurt! Not an experience to repeat. "Alright...Seven days, full speed ahead, to rest and relaxation, this'll be a sensation." Nowe told himself as he booked a room at the hotel, then went out to explore the resort.

Zelos stretched as he walked down the steps to the beach. Time to get that brat outta my head, he thought to himself. He walked down the sands of the beach as the waves rushed forth at him, nearly touching his feet. Then, he froze in place. He completely forgot to change into his swimsuit! Well, he couldn’t go back now; the brat might be in the hotel! He crossed his arms and tapped his foot. Well, the beach was out of the question now.
Zelos grinned and snapped his fingers. If the beach wasn’t available, the casino would be! He started for the casino, but then remembered that it was still daylight. Well, the amusement park would be open, which meant, he could ride the ferris wheel. At that idea, several different scenarios passed through his mind. All he needed to do was find a nice lady to join him.

Wow... Nowe looked around the area fascinated. No wonder so many people liked Altamira! It was a wonderful place that brimmed with life yet at the same time eased tension away. Maybe it was the idyllic setting or the almost tangible feeling that thrummed through the air. Where should I go first, now that I've finished with the hotel? Nowe wondered, gazing around.
After a few minutes of aimlessly wandering around the front area Nowe decided to explore deeper inside the park. It looked like there was something over in that other area, that caught the sunlight. Then I shall head over there Nowe thought decisively, allowing himself a small smile. It looked like this vacation would be fun after all as he headed towards the amusement park, quietly humming under his breath.

“Where would you like to go?”
The Chosen took only a second to think about where he should go on the Elemental Railway. After all, he didn’t have any business at the Lezareno Company’s HQ. “Take me,” Zelos said, “to the amusement park, my good man!” Zelos stepped onto the partially submerged monorail, and looked out to see the kid running up to the train! Zelos blurted out at the operator to hurry, but the man didn’t really hear him and waited until the kid ran on.
Zelos groaned. He couldn’t let the kid ruin his vacation! So, Zelos just walked to the edge of the monorail and ignored the kid completely.

Just made it. Nowe thought relieved. He had been worried that the monorail would go on without him but fortunately, the operator waited till he got on. "Thanks" He said, earning a smile and a nod. It began moving, heading towards the amusement park. Walking over to a corner Nowe looked around at the other customers. They all looked happy and excite-wait...Ahck! It was that rude red-haired guy again! Darn, I was hoping that he'd gone to the beach or something... Well it seemed like there would be no such luck today. Nowe turned around and ignored him.

It wasn’t actually a long ride, but Zelos was still angry, so it seemed like an eternity to him. But, eventually, the monorail did stop at the destination, and when it stopped, Zelos couldn’t get off fast enough. Some vacation this was turning out to be . . . but, all he needed was a lovely hunny and he’d be fine! He went to the nearest lady and asked her to ride the ferris wheel with him.
Of course, with his reputation, and the fact he was the Chosen, the woman had little choice but to accept.

Finally! They'd arrived at the amusement park. Hurrying off the monorail, Nowe concentrated on getting as much distance between himself and that annoying man as possible. What an irritating aura he had! Like fingernails scraping down a chalkboard, or a fork scraping across your teeth. Ah well...Looking around, Nowe wondered what to do first. There certainly was a lot here. All the people around looked happy and excited to be out on this fine day. Such atmosphere seemed to make the sun itself shine brighter and the winds feel breezier. Deciding to try out those tea cup things, Nowe ran off into the crowds.
